How to Submit
Done your site? Here's how to submit it!
1. Join #personal-site-ships on Hack Club Slack
If you're not already on the Slack, you can join here: https://hackclub.com/slack/
Hack Club Slack is a large community where teen coders and makers can interact with one another!
Once you're in, head on over to the #personal-site-ships channel - there is where you'll be submitting your site.
2. Post a ship message for your site
Post the site you made in #personal-site-ships - ship it by sharing it with the world, via a slack message!
In your ship message, include:
- Github repo link
- Link to your deployed site
- Screenshots of your site
- Description/features of your site
- Let me know if you are trying to get the additional prizes (ie: shirt)
Other things you could include:
- Whether this is your first or millionth site
- Design thought process behind your site
- Was there a particularily challenging or technical or cool part?
- What did you learn while making it?
- Advice for others?
- Anything else you want to mention!
Please make sure this message is high effort. If there's something not obvious about your site (ie: it's much more technical below the surface), talk about it! It might be missed otherwise.
3. Wait for approval/feedback!
Your site will be reviewed within a business week.
After @acon reacts with a ✅ emoji, it's approved! We'll reply with a fulfillment form in thread for you to fill out to get your domain :D
